I have been playing or singing in church almost my whole life. I've been active playing keyboards and singing, even leading since middle school, and have been playing at church as a professional for about 7 years.
I am currently employed as the Music Director at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in North Reading, MA,the Youth Group Worship Leader at Sudbury Presbyterian Church. I play for funerals and weddings when needed, and am well versed in contemporary and traditional songs. Sometimes I will make backing tracks for service, or switch to whatever instrument is needed for the service, including sometimes playing left hand keyboard bass. In the last few years I have also served at Restoration Church in Brockton, MA, the Youth Group Worship Leader at Sudbury Presbyterian Church, and as the Worship Leader at St. John's Lutheran Church in Marengo, IL. The bulk of my performing experience has come from church, and I am proficient on all the standard worship band instruments. I am available to play for funeral services, as an accompanist on piano or guitar, as a vocalist, or both. I am familiar with a wide variety of traditional and contemporary songs, and will play any selections requested. Some example songs commonly requested are:
